Processing time
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri) after payment clears.
- Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day.
- Customizations or gift wrapping may add 1 extra business day.
Tip: “Processing” is when we prep and hand the package to the carrier — not in-transit time.

- Economy / Ground (multi-day, cheapest) — $3.99
- Estimated delivery: 5–10 business days
- Lower cost option for non-urgent orders
You can upgrade shipping at checkout or in your order details (if the item hasn’t shipped).
Local pickup / In-store pickup
- Free — choose “Local Pickup” at checkout.
- Ready for pickup: typically same-day or next business day.
- Bring your order confirmation and ID to pick up.
- We’ll hold orders for 7 days before return to inventory.
International shipping
- Available to select countries
- Starting cost: $19.99 (final cost based on weight/destination).
- Estimated delivery: 7–21 business days (customs may delay).
- Buyers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees (unless otherwise stated).
- We’ll provide customs documents when shipping internationally.
Carriers & tracking
- We use reliable carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and regional carriers.
- Every shipped order includes a tracking number. You’ll receive it by email (and optionally by SMS).
- Track via the carrier link in your order confirmation or through your account on our site.
Signature & insurance options
- Signature required can be added for high-value orders (recommended).
- Package protection (insurance against loss/damage) can be offered at checkout for a small additional fee.
How to change or cancel shipping
- Before shipment: log into your order page or contact support at support@michellesdresses.com. We’ll try to change shipping method/address while the order is in processing.
- After shipment: address changes may require a carrier intercept and possible fee — contact support quickly with tracking and new address.
- Upgrade shipping: you may upgrade shipping while the order is in processing — pay the difference at the time of change.
Holidays and unexpected delays
- Carrier volume or bad weather can delay delivery. During peak seasons (holidays/back-to-school) expect extra transit time.
- We’ll post estimated cut-off dates for guaranteed holiday delivery on the homepage and in emails.
Lost, delayed, or damaged packages
- If tracking shows a problem or a package is damaged on arrival:
- Contact support within 7 days of the expected delivery date with your order number and photos (for damaged items).
- We will open a claim with the carrier and make it right — replacement, refund, or reship
- If a package is marked delivered but you didn’t receive it:
- Check with others at the delivery address, neighbors, and the carrier first.
- If still missing, contact us and we’ll investigate.
Shipping restrictions
- Some items or destinations may be restricted (e.g., certain international locations, P.O. boxes for some carriers).
- Final Sale or certain promotional items may ship differently — check the product page.

Q: Where is my tracking number?
A: It’s emailed as soon as we ship. You can also find it in your account order history.
Q: What if my package is late?
